Who We Are
Al-Hazen Research is a dedicated, multi-specialty Clinical Research Site Management Organization located in Irving, Texas. Alhazen’s team of clinical researchers are all ICH GCP trained, and represent expertise in all clinical trial phases. We are highly committed to provide the highest quality Phase Ib, II, III, and IV clinical research services to the pharmaceutical industry.
As an independent site, we complete contractual and regulatory documents within 3 days. We have dedicated staff that have the ability to carefully screen, enroll, and most importantly to retain study subjects. Our goal is to provide quality data to our sponsors on time every time.

Tony Das, MD, FACC
Dr. Das is a board certified interventional cardiologist with a 25 year career of creative innovation, leadership and high achievement. A national expert in Peripheral Vascular Interventions and Digital Health leading collaborative teams, developing programs and creating value in the cardiovascular healthcare space.
He is the Founder CEO of Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates, the first US-based Cardiology and Vascular practice dedicated to a digital-first approach for CV care using RPM services. He has been recognized as 'Best Cardiologist in Dallas' by D Magazine and Texas Monthly in their annual list for the last 15 years.
Ken Johnson, MD, MBA, FACC
Licensed interventional cardiologist, vascular/endovascular specialist, longevity medicine and cellular health expert as well as accomplished business leader and executive offering 23+ years of distinguished service within prestigious clinical, corporate. academic, and research environments. Clinical expertise includes interventional cardiology, peripheral arterial and venous disease and vascular intervention. Diverse corporate proficiency in medical affairs, clinical affairs, corporate strategy, practice management and executive management.
Imran Baig, MD
Imran Baig, MD is a board certified interventional and structural cardiologist. He specializes in minimally invasive valvular heart disease and complex coronary interventions. He has advanced training in aortic TAVR treatment, complex mitral valve disease and opening coronary chronic total occlusions. Dr. Baig believes in timely communication with his patients and his mission is to deliver the best individualized, comprehensive tertiary level cardiovascular care.
